I keep hearing about all these online penny auctions sites out there. Stuff where you can get crazy good deals on stuff just on penny bids. My friend said he got a laptop for like 20 bucks is that true? If so what are some of the best penny auction sites out there?

You can score some great deals on penny auctions, but in order to be successful, you have to do some research first. Smaller items like giftcards tend to be easier to win then items like a laptop.
